Conservation Treatments

Examinations, Evaluations, and Condition Reports

We offer pre- and post-treatment assessments and condition reports for exhibitions, loans, insurance claims, pre- and post-sales, appraisals, transport, storage, and other needs.

Collections Surveys and Continued Care

We provide cyclical and need-based collection management for private clients and institutions, including environmental and storage recommendations.

Consultations with Artists

The artist’s intent is central to our treatment approach. Our experience with many materials helps artists achieve their creative vision and preserve their art long-term.

The accurate documentation of current condition is essential for ensuring artwork care. Our experience with photography, videography, narrative reports, and three-dimensional modeling is tailored to the client - and artwork’s - needs.

Artwork Documentation

Our experience with a variety of analytical techniques (XRF, multiband imaging, etc.) allows us to perform extensive research for exhibitions, publishing, or collaborations.

Technical and Material Research

Preventive Conservation and Artwork Transport Recommendations

We can perform storage and handling assessments and provide recommendations for the safeguarding of artworks. We work with art packing and transport companies and also offer courier services both nationally and internationally.

Caring for unique objects and art allows us teach others how to protect our shared cultural heritage. We have spoken at conferences, written articles, and connected with the public in different settings to share what we know and seek opportunities for collaboration.
