The studio treats a diverse array of objects, including sculpture, design pieces, furniture, and decorative arts. We work across a broad spectrum of materials—ceramic, stone, glass, plastic, metal, wood, and laminates—and support collection care through maintenance services, condition assessments, and treatment documentation.

Yes. We prefer in-person consultations when possible, but we can also assess digital images. Initial evaluations help us determine treatment needs and provide a price estimate or range.

We regularly operate throughout Westchester and New York City and can arrange transportation for many works. Our Westchester studio is also available for drop-offs, and we offer on-site treatment when appropriate.

After reviewing the artwork, we provide a price estimate or range. A 50% deposit—based on the lower end of the estimate—is typically required to begin treatment and order materials. Our studio does its best to keep pricing fair and reflective of the time, skill, and care each piece requires, as well as the cost of materials.

Absolutely. Our work proudly adheres to the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) Code of Ethics and we are affiliated with AIC, ICOM-CC, and IIC.

Yes. In addition to conservation treatment, we offer ongoing care strategies to help preserve artworks in storage, display, or transit.

We recommend that clients maintain insurance coverage for their artworks throughout the conservation process. While we take every precaution to ensure safe handling and secure storage, our estimate outlines specific terms and guidelines related to care and liability.
